Dr. Hannu Verkasalo, SVP at Arbitron, the former CEO of Zokem, is a
thought leader in mobile market research and media measurement, specifically in mobile passive metering.
Verkasalo has a Ph.D. in mobile analytics from the Helsinki University of Technology with specialization in mobile service usage as well as contextual and behavioral analysis, and he has published over 30 academic papers from the field. Verkasalo has been in market research and technology consulting since 2003 through various companies, and as the head of Arbitron Mobile, he spearheads the new wave of mobile analytics facilitated through mobile panels run by Arbitron Mobile and its partners globally.
