PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE JOACHIM STEPHAN

Joachim is a Partner and Managing Director of the Boston Consulting Group based in Munich. He is the leader of the European and African Media sector of BCG's Technology, Media, and Telecommunication practice. He has more than fourteen years experience in management consulting, advising senior executives of Telcos, ISPs, cable  providers, media, and technology companies.

Joachim sits on numerous not-for-profit boards such as the expert committee of the German Federal Government on 'Internet and Digital Society'
Before joining BCG, Mr. Stephan was Junior Partner at Oliver Wyman (former Mercer Management Consulting) where he led the Communications, Information and Entertainment practice area in Switzerland. Prior to that, he worked for Robert Bosch in Kuala Lumpur as well as Daimler AG and Bertelsmann in Germany.

Mr. Stephan received a degree in Business Administration at University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland, and Economic Engineering at the University of Karlsruhe, Germany. Mr. Stephan is a native speaker of German and is fluent in English
