Nick Burcher

Head of Social Media and Digital Innovation ZenithOptimedia Worldwide

BIOGRAPHY

In his current role, Nick Burcher oversees Social Media and Digital Innovation for ZenithOptimedia Worldwide.  Working with clients such as L’Oreal, Nestle, Reckitt Benckiser and Toyota, he is responsible for driving digital development around social media and emerging digital platforms / offerings. 

Prior to this, Burcher was Head of Products and Partnerships EMEA at the VivaKi Nerve Center, a central hub that builds best-in-class digital tools, platforms and partnerships for Publicis Groupe agencies Digitas, Razorfish, Starcom MediaVest Group and ZenithOptimedia. Serving in a hybrid role that provided social media, performance marketing, research and display media expertise, in 2009 Burcher was instrumental in the European launch of the VNC’s REAL Social suite and also worked extensively on the development of VivaKi’s Audience On Demand Exchange trading system.

Over his 14 years in the industry Burcher has sat on a variety of industry councils and won industry awards for work on Zurich, Open University and MG Rover.  He is a frequent conference speaker and vocal advocate, further discussing media and advertising trends on his Advertising Age Power 150 blog at www.nickburcher.com.
