BIOGRAPHY
Since January 2011 Georg Konjovic is heading Axel Springer's premium content initiative. He coordinates all activities regarding paid content in order to establish a paid culture for content for web and mobile. In addition to that his unit is responsible for the new brand "iKiosk" which is a marketplace for journalistic products available on the iPad and in the web. In December 2011 Axel Springer opened its iKiosk for other publishers and is now selling more than 100 magazines and newspapers.
Before that Georg Konjovic has been Managing Director at hamburg.de, one of Germany's most popular local websites and responsible for its relaunch and economical restructuring. Further positions at Axel Springer, muenchen.de and Ciao.
