Joe is a co-founder of The Wonderfactory, the New York-based experience design firm that wowed the world in late 2009 with its video demo showing what the Sports Illustrated experience could be on an iPad. The video launched six months before the iPad arrived in stores, and before any mere mortal had either seen or touched one. Remarkably, every one of The Wonderfactory’s predictions about the experience came true. Since then, TWF has worked on Tablet projects for Time, People, Fortune, The Weather Channel, Travel + Leisure, Food and Wine, Departures, Executive Travel, Better Homes & Gardens, Motor Trend, Automobile Magazine, as well as many other projects for Barnes & Noble, the largest retail bookseller in the US. In addition to working closely with publishers, much of The Wonderfactory’s work today focuses on helping advertisers take full advantage of the tablet form factor and capabilities.Prior to founding The Wonderfactory, Joe ran the internal creative organization at America Online. In past lives Joe was Chief Creative Officer at both Digitas and Modem Media (both now part of Publicis).
