BIOGRAPHY

As Managing Director and Vice President of ShopStyle Europe/Sugar Inc, Shannon is a senior internet professional with over a decade of experience managing incredibly successful web brands.

Shannon joined ShopStyle in April 2008 with a brief to launch the brand into Europe. She built ShopStyle.co.uk from the ground up to an award-winning business - ShopStyle won Draper’s Etail Award Best Fashion Aggregator 2011 last year.  Today ShopStyle UK has 1.3 million unique visitors and drives more than £20 million in sales for the retailers it works with. The site lists products from more that 150 top retailers and over 3,000 brands. Following this success, in 2010 Shannon launched local language versions of ShopStyle in both Germany and France. ShopStyle also has had success as an e-commerce tool for publishers and today the company  powers the shopping sites for media partners such as Public,fr, Elle UK, OK! magazine and Channel 4.

In her role as VP Shannon oversees a strong, experienced team responsible for online and offline marketing, merchandising, merchant relations, business development, pricing, display sales and market expansion for Sugar's ShopStyle sites in Europe. This also includes key sponsorships of events such as Berlin Fashion Week and London Fashion Weekend and speaking at high profile events and conferences.

Before joining ShopStyle, Shannon spent four years with eBay's Shopping.com as Director of Merchant Services and Director of Communications and before that as Senior Manager for Netflix. Shannon began her career as a journalist in Chicago writing local magazine and industry trade articles.

Shannon is a frequent commentator on e-commerce topics and has appeared on numerous radio and TV channels in both the UK and the US over the past ten years including BBC, CNN Fox National, MSNBC, The Times, Le Monde, USA Today, and New York Times.

Shannon is married with children and lives in West London.
