Floris Cobelens

Head of Digital Heineken®

BIOGRAPHY

In his role Floris oversees all digital activities for Heineken®. Heineken is strongly convinced that by developing content that’s  “social by design” the brand is able to engage with its global audience in a more compelling and exciting way.

This year Heineken became the most liked alcohol brand on Facebook and was rewarded with a Gold Lion at Cannes Advertising Festival for its innovative dual screen application around UEFA Champions League games, called StarPlayer.

Floris joined Heineken in 2004. In 2008 he was responsible for the development of “Walking Fridge”, which became the first viral hit for Heineken®. Prior to that he had different marketing functions at Unilever and Leaf. In 1999 Floris founded his own dotcom company called Movinci.
